Our Philosophy
Everyone has a talent, watch them closely, nature them and watch them bloom. At Hospitality Academy we believe in differentiated pedagogy, every student is different, learns differently and grasp concepts at different pace. Moreover we acknowledge that students do not live in vaccume, they come from different families and different background which greatly affects their learning process. We consider all these factors and tailor our teaching approach to suit students' different learning needs. Over the years, this Philosophy has enabled us to turn lives around and transform lives of many students.
Our History
Hospitality Academy was formed in June 2010 with the aim of providing the much needed hospitality training in the country and the entire world. The training center was established in Bindura the provincial capital of Mashonaland Central Province in Zimbabwe
On the 1st of October 2010 the institution opened as Hospitality Training Consultancy (HTC) with the aim of giving proffessional consultancy to various hotels and later the school obtained its full registration with the Minstry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development.
Currently the college is is offering National Foundation Certificate Courses affiliated to the Higher Education Examination Council of Zimbabwe [HEXCO]

My time at the Hospitality academy gave me drive and the foundation of professional cooking and hospitality industry itself. Without Hospitality Academy I would not be where I am today. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. E Mucheka, the Principal and owner of Hospitality Academy. I enrolled at Hospitality Academy in 2019 when I was 19. From day 1 the lecturers especially Mr. F Gweera where demanding discipline and respect, it is so amazing to see their training reflecting so well in the industry placements. As for now I'm working at the best French restaurant in Zimbabwe as a head chef.
